WSCC Launches National Search for Next School President

MARIETTA, OHIO (Jan. 6, 2017)--The Washington State Community College (WSCC) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that a national search for the College’s seventh President will begin this month.  The Board will identify a candidate to succeed Dr. Bradley J. Ebersole, who plans to retire on June 30, 2017, after nearly six years as President of WSCC.  The Board is committed to conducting an open, equitable and thorough search, seeking qualified candidates from throughout the state and nation.

WSCC Recognizes Fall 2016 President's and Dean's List

MARIETTA, OHIO (Dec. 27, 2016)-- Washington State Community College (WSCC) is pleased to recognize the students who have earned a place on the President's and Dean's lists for the 2016 Fall semester.  

These outstanding scholastic achievements are earned by students who carry a minimum of 12 credit hours and attain a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) to receive President's List honors or a minimum 3.5 - 3.9 GPA for Dean's List recognition. Congratulations to these 168 students. We, at WSCC, look forward to your continued strides toward greatness.

WSCC Veterans Club Awarded Emergency Fund Gift by Local Marine Corps League Detachment

MARIETTA, OHIO (Dec. 21, 2016)— The Marine Corps League – Sergeant Bob O'Malley Detachment 1436 recently presented Washington State Community College (WSCC) Veterans Club with a check for $500.

College Credit Plus Program Results in Big Tuition Savings

MARIETTA, OHIO (December 20, 2016)-- In its inaugural year, College Credit Plus (CCP), Ohio's initiative to give 7th-12th grade students the opportunity to earn college credits, saved local students enrolled at Washington State Community College (WSCC) more than $950,000 in college tuition. Across the state the program is credited with saving families more than $110 million.
